Thank you for this. I stumbled across this while, oddly enough, searching for lyrics to the same song you quote.

I didn't expect to read a log entry that so profoundly spoke to me. Especially the concept that the miracle we claim now may be the right miracle, and may even be asked in the right way, but that I may be asking for it at the WRONG time. As an old pastor of mine used to say, "The right thing at the wrong time is the wrong thing."

I have record album entitled "Oral Roberts Presents" that features the Song "I Expect A Miracle". Here it is:

Just like a child I come to Him in joy and despair, it makes no difference great or small,
He hears my every prayer.
Nothing is impossible because He said it is true because I expect a miracle and nothing else will do.
I have asked in faith believing from a childlike point of view,
so I expect a miracle and nothing else will do.

I anticipate the inevitable, supernatural, intervention of God.
I expect a miracle, I expect a miracle, I expect a miracle!

Hi, if you have the full lyrics to this song, and any details of the album this came from. (L.I.F.E)
I would really appreciate your help.
We used to have this album years ago, but now when i want it for my children, my folks seem to have misplaced it.
Many thanks...

Blessings... Jenni B

What a healthy take on a very sticky subject for many of us. There is a fine line that we walk between trusting God for a miracle and treating Him like a cosmic Santa Claus. I especially like your comments about abiding in Jesus. If we are truly walking in step with His Spirit, then we will only ask for those things that are aligned with His will. Thanks you for being an obedient servant in recording these very personal stages of your journey.
